I just tried running a legacy midi app on osx lion - it doesn't work. Can't seem to deal with sysex messages upon which I depended. And thus this is the straw that breaks the camels back for me. The lack of productive gui editing tools, continual cross-platform failures, amazingly bad (and continuing) decisions by the 'java community' are some of the reasons I'm moving on. There are much easier to use cross-platform frameworks out there now. Other than android development (unfortunately) - I'm done....This early-adopter is outta here.
